Altered Wing Studio is an artist collective. Currently we have 11 artists in house who create everything from jewelry, clothing, art, home decor, paper crafting, metal smithing, furniture refinishing, upcycling and soldering. Several of the artists offer classes in their specialized areas. We have a beautiful retail area stocked full of all of the beautiful creations from these amazing artisans. Join Roxanne Evans Stout and Lorri Scott and add a burst of color to your winter.
Learn botanical and rust dye printing with Lorri Scott. If weather permits we will go outside to gather nature but if we can’t do that Lorri and Roxanne will bring a variety of things from leaves and flowers to twigs and seed pods.
We will take our dyed fabrics and papers and combine them with our nature finds to create collages and compose your own Gathering Grace booklet.
The closer we observe nature and hold gratitude for our surroundings the more creative energy thrives and we realize is an important way to grace our lives.
Come explore and create your grace with us.

Gathering Grace on Altered Wings
Happy Fall from here in Northern California! Altered Wing Studio is busy gearing up for the last show of the season,

The birds are laying even more eggs, Cara has been painting furniture, Bern is in the tower hammering away, Ginger is sewing like a mad woman smack dab in the middle of a huge pile of flannel, Kimberly is knitting with beautiful silks and fibers, Viki is hammering, soldering and drawing crazy eyed cats. Anne is busy making new jewelry, Dee is making a mess with gold glitter for her amazing banners and Jenney is busy stocking everything you will need for you paper art creations.

Fabric Flowers
This class is a fun and easy adventure into fabrics, fibers buttons and lace. We will use heat including open flame to help form and manipulate the materials into beautiful flowers.You will create 4 different flowers. $25.00
Sewing 101
Learn the basics of sewing including the ins and out of the sewing machine, how to read a pattern and turn all those words into a product that you can be proud to take home. $65.00 for 3…1 hour classes
To Dye For Class
You will learn the fun art of hand dyeing ribbon using traditional dyes, homemade dyes and other mediums used for staining. You will also see how easy it is to add dimension to your dyed ribbon and then some ideas on what to do with your creations. $40 you will go home with 30 yards of ribbon and lace that you hand dyed yourself! Vintage Ribbon Cuff Class

Basic Word Collage

Inspirational Girl Collage
Learn how to paint and collage a background and then create your own girl using different papers and paint. See how bubble wrap and things found at the dollar store add fun and layers to your work of art. Using some painter’s tarp you will design a bag unique to you including pockets. Never sewn before? That's OK... this is a perfect beginning project. $48
